Hello Summer Lovers, Magazine
Remember back, (for me, way back) to your school years,
when summer meant two months of nothing pressing to
do and nowhere to be – just automatic relaxing vacation
time. I miss that. I admit I have my moments when I am
a huge fan of having nothing to do. No commitments, no
deadlines, no plans and no make- up! Those days have be-
come few and far between, replaced with more grown up features
summer pleasures. It’s time for everyone to drive with
the car windows down and enjoy the breeze, stop at Dairy
Queen – a lot, sit on the Green at one of the summer con-

certs and get those grills ready for business. As you all
know, I am not a lover of the warm weather. But, I am certainly a lover of a well
grilled steak, fresh corn on the cob and anything made with locally grown straw-
berries. I love to cook and I’ve been busy reviewing recipes for a farm to ta- A Monument Or A Memorial Hall?

agreed to prepare the meal, with me helping, using fresh produce from Muzio’s
Farm. The dinner is being co- sponsored by the Daytime Gardeners and will ben-
efit the North Haven Historical Society. Keep an eye out for more information
and tickets. 14
